Passed away on Friday, March 2, 2012, at his home with family by his side. He was born in Defiance, Ohio on November 20, 1947 the son of the late Louis and Dorothy (Miller) Osborn. On November 5, 1983 Ron married the love of his life Debra (McDaniel), who survives. They were married for over 25 wonderful years. Ron was proud to serve his country as a Sargeant E5 in the United States Army during Vietnam. Ron was a spirited and gifted man who loved music and was an accomplished artist. He had a wonderful sense of humor, and his contagious laughter will be greatly missed. Throughout his life he had many diverse occupations, ranging from Cowboy to Policeman, but he always came back to the sign business. He would eventually retire from Burkett Sign Company in 2010. Ron is also survived by a daughter, Brandi (Mike) Scheppelman; a son, James Wright; three grandchildren, Parris, Jace and Sebastian; one sister and five brothers; many in-laws, nieces, nephews and good friends.
