John passed away Monday Jan. 21, 2013. He was a native of a Kalamazoo and resident all his life. He was a member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church since 1930 and was active. He was married to his first wife, Nancy upon death remarried Maxine, his 2nd wife. John and Nancy enjoyed their many outings of golf, avid sports enthusiast, little league manager, traveling with family. Surviving are his 3 daughters, 8 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 1 step daughter, 4 step grandchildren. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm Saturday Feb. 2, 2013 at St. Luke’s Church with Father Randall Warren officiating. A later date for a private committal service at Mountain Home Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Luke’s Episcopal Church and/or Hospice care of SW Michigan
