Adriana (Ada) Nichols, age 88, of Kalamazoo, passed away peacefully (Sunday, October 25, 2015) in Kalamazoo. Ada is survived by her children: Kristine (Vincent) Desmond of Bloomington, Indiana, and Jon Nichols of Costa Mesa, California; three grandchildren: Joshua Desmond (April Toler) and great granddaughter Ollie; Brian Desmond (Iris Joseff); and Sarah (Rodney) Green. She will be sadly missed by her favorite feline companion Tripod. Per Ada's wishes cremation has taken place and no memorial service is planned. Contributions may be made to the Comstock Community Center (6330 King Highway, Kalamazoo MI 49048) in Ada's memory. The family thanks the kind and caring staffs of Harold & Grace Upjohn Care & Rehabilitation Center and SouthernCare Hospice for their gentleness with Ada in her time of need.
