Condolences

Condolence From: Barb Gallagher
Condolence: We, Quilt Womyn, will miss George bringing us chocolate. He was always comfortable with us, kind, and sharing. Sometimes so comfortable he fell asleep sitting in the corner. Special man.

Condolence From: Karel Asbury
Condolence: My condolences go out to George Duane's family and loved ones. My Uncle Duane was a man of many interests, I don't think you could call them hobbies because he took them on with such a true dedication - photography, gardening, quilting/sewing, and furniture making to name a few. I'll always cherish my table made from my Grandpa's barn wood. He was a craftsman, an artist, and a man who spoke his mind. For the first half of my life he was Uncle Duane. When my grandfather died (whose name was also George), he became George Duane. By any name, he was a good person to me and I'm proud he was my uncle. He took good care of my Grandma when she needed it, and that was a blessing to many of us. May you rest in peace, George Duane.
