Freeland (Fritz) Elva
⦁ Elva went to be with the Lord September 19th peacefully in her sleep at the age of 95.
She was born February 27,1921. Elva was the daughter of Ralph P and Viola (Kindy) Fritz.
Elva Graduated in 1938 from Athens High School. She married Fred Freeland December 24 1941
Elva received her preacher license in 1950. Spreading God's word and visiting with people was her life ambition.
Elva was preceded in death by her parents, husband Fred Freeland, siblings Authur Fritz,of Fulton, Rose Ann Fritz,of Fulton, Dwight Fritz of Fulton, Alice Town of Vicksburg, Albert Fritz of Pennsylvania, Grace Mohr of Minnesota, brothers in law Tom Hinton and Al Mohr, and nephew Clifford Town of Scott's.
Surviving are her sister Gladys Hinton of Oklahoma and sister in law Ruth Fritz of Pennsylvania. Her daughters Grace (James) Brown,Vicksburg and Sally Freeland of Vicksburg and grandchildren Debby (Gary) Vance of Vicksburg & Jamie (John) Rosselott of Vicksburg. Several nieces and nephews. And her fur babies Candy and Dolly.
