Condolence From: Laurie LeClear
Condolence: Bill certainly had a big impact on my life. I loved his spirit, enthusiasm and wisdom. I would've been there in person but I got the newspaper listing after the service. He was a special man whose time on this earth made a difference to many.
Deepest sympathy to Char (also a treasure) and the entire family.

Condolence: Bill was a really neat guy. Met him early on in my ministry. Actually about 45 years ago. I really appreciated his insights. And he did so much good in the greater Kalamazoo/Comstock area. Deepest Sympathy to the family. Blessings and prayers for you all.

Condolence: Our Bill
One whose heart was full of care
And lit the dark path before us there
Who knew the wretch within us all
The hate, the loss and the despair
Understood, and loved us more
One whose heart was full of care
And lit the dark path before us there
He saw the disparate parts of me
Yearning to be one and free
And helped me reconcile
The man, The dichotomies
Oh, dark sage
That holds midnight
Like an orb suppressed
Bill traveled far to bring you home
May Bill find you
Today
Within our breast

Condolence: Bill was a fun guy and very supportive. I was the pastor at the Comstock Church from 76-84. Bill was very supportive of my ministry and was a wonderful and effective leader in the Comstock and Kalamazoo community. Bill was a blessing to all those he met.

Condolence: Met Rev. Bill years ago when he worked in Kalamazoo,in the same building I was in at the time back in the 70's, got reacquainted in the early 80's when I attended Comstock United Methodist for a few years. Good man, loved University of Michigan. Let the then minister, Ed Slate know it too. Ed was MSU grad. Rest in Peace, Rev. Bill.
