James Stuart Culp
December 31,1961-January 1, 2017
James died unexpectedly of natural causes at home on New Years Day. He was born December 31, 1961 in Lincoln, Nebraska. His father was Howard L. Culp and his mother Ann Marie (Zinke) McKinstry. Jim lived his younger years in the Battle Creek/Kalamazoo area and later in Walkerville, Whitehall, Muskegon and Twin Lake, Michigan. He recently moved to Centreville, Michigan where he was enjoying his new apartment and the smaller town.
He graduated from Harper Creek High School in Battle Creek, Michigan with his GED.
In his early years he was employed doing various handywork from roofing to construction. For many years he has been disabled.
Jim is survived by his mother, Ann McKinstry, stepfather, Loren McKinstry, his stepmother, Debbie Culp Testolin, as well as four brothers, Michael (Jennifer) Culp, Jonathon (Kathy) Culp, Robert (Kerri) Culp, and Sam Alshehri, his Aunt Eileen (Dennis) Cook, several nieces and nephews and cousins. His father Howard Culp is deceased. James has been cremated and private gravesite services will be done in the near future.
