Patricia Anne Bagwell of Vicksburg, MI went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 12, 2017 after her battle with congestive heart failure. She was born on July 02, 1940 to J.C. and Francis Pence. She worked at various jobs through her life, but was most known for being the cook at Vicksburg High School for many years. Some of the many activities that she enjoyed were spending time with her family, traveling, flower gardening, and feeding the birds. She is survived by her children Michael Simmons and Daniel ( Angela) Bagwell, sibling Mina Davis,(Norma Pence), brother-in-law Chuck Forman, six grandchildren Jessica ( Doug ) Paulsen, Kaitlin Simmons, Abbie ( Jesse ) Gerspach , Rebekah Simmons, Justin Bagwell, Patricia Bagwell; six great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband Cecil Bagwell, Lyle Simmons, her second born son Edgar Simmons, and her parents J.C. and Francis Pence, siblings; Mildred (Harland ) Bennett, Maxine( George) Bartholomew, George (Eleanor)Pence, (Dennis Davis), Ardith Forman.
The family will receive friends at Chapman Memorial Church of the Nazarene, 7520 E U Ave., Vicksburg, MI on Tuesday January 17th, 2017 from 10am to 11am with a memorial service following immediately at 11am. Luncheon to follow at the church.
The family wishes that all memorial contributions be sent to either the Wings Home or to Chapman Memorial Church of the Nazarene.
