Passed away on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at the age of 83.
William was born in Kalamazoo, MI, the son of the late John and Lucy (Kuiper) Klein. He attended Portage Central High School, then joined the US Army (1957) and was honorably discharged in 1962. He was a member of the First Reformed Church of Portage. During his working years he worked for WL Molding, Kal-Equip and Ronningen-Petter. He was an avid gardener. He enjoyed working in his greenhouse and selling his annual hanging baskets. William is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Barbara Jean (Klem) Klein. He was preceded in death by his son Mark and his brother Louis Klein. He is survived by his brother Larry (Letty) Klein, his children Gregory (Kimberly) Klein, Jill Herzog, Michael (Jeanne, deceased) Klein, Steven (Jackie) Klein, Tracy Klein, 18 grandchildren and many great grand-children.
