Debbie Pillars, a long-time resident of the Portage area, died of natural causes, Wednesday the 5th of July at her home at the age of 67.
Debbie is preceded in death by her parents Roy and Jackie Andrus.
Debbie is survived by her daughter, Pamela (Jeremy) Magnuson, two grandchildren Kenley and Cole, Brother Bob (Anne) Andrus, Sister Gerri (Tim) Wilson, and her beloved dog Jazzy.
Debbie received her diploma from Portage Northern High School and continued her education at Cosmetology school. Debbie worked as a hair stylist and owner of Coronet Styling Salon for 40+ years. She was beloved by her clients, many of whom she considered family.

The viewing will be held at Avink Funeral Home, 129 S Grand St, Schoolcraft, MI 49087 on July 11, 2017 beginning at 12:00pm followed by the funeral service at 2:00pm.
