Dear Friends and Family, We met Dana and Wayne in 1995 when we had the good fortune of buying the house next to them on Lakeway. If we could have picked our next door neighbors, it would have been Dana, Wayne and Family. I have a few funny stories about Dana. Bill, my husband, used to jog around the neighborhood after work and on the weekends. One day he was out jogging and Dana drove by him, stopped her car and started jogging with him to say she liked his socks. Well, Dirt Bag, their dog was in the car and jumped on the door lock and was locked inside with the car running in the middle of the road. Fortunately Dana was not far from home and jogged back and got another set of keys.
Also, one day I thought that I heard birds up in the fireplace chimney. I called and David came over. He didn't hear anything. He went home and told his Dad that Mom(Dana) and Mrs. Todd(me) were a lot alike. Ha!
It was because of Dana that we had the good fortune of buying her Mother's cottage on Eagle Lake. We were down the hill from the Anderson's place. So we were neighbors in Kalamazoo and on Eagle Lake.
We were so so fortunate to have loving neighbors with Wayne, Dana, David and Mark. Many fond memories are with us.
