Condolences

Condolence From: Amy Gillett
Condolence: My love and prayers for Roy's family and friends. What a blessing to have wonderful people in our lives. And I consider it an honor to have known Roy. In High School Roy was the ultimate friend. He and my brother, Marc, played football and basketball for Comstock HS. We all spent much time together. In fact, my brother named his son after Roy. Such fond memories. He will certainly be missed. A real "gentle man". God Bless you all.

Condolence From: David and Nora Brandt
Condolence: Dave met Roy through work and enjoyed many years working with him at Parker. Since they have both been retired their friendship grew and they spent time each week at Roy's garage just talking . Roy was a multi-talented individual with many talents. He hung a light fixture for me and installed a new sink in my kitchen. He and I had a bet that he could not fix a drawer of mine that kept falling off the track. Well he won! And I owed him a hug. I still owe him that hug and I sure wish I could give it to him. Dave and I will miss him greatly. It reminds us how fragile life is and how important it is to let people know how much they mean to you.

Condolence From: Chris Lewis
Condolence: I had the pleasure of working with Roy for many years. We often would visit during break time. He so often spoke very highly of Marilyn and his daughter Angela. He loved them dearly. People who work together often form bonds of not only friendships, but also a kind of family bond. We at Parker were a relatively small group, therefore we knew most of our fellow employees. Roy was a great family man and a truly good person. I'm so sorry to have heard of your loss. May he rest in Jesus peace.
