Jan passed away peacefully November 6, 2017 at Bronson Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Jan was born March 13, 1931 in Connersville, IN to Joe and Margaret (Stinger) Connaway.
She was the loving wife of Jack Orr for the last 67 years. In addition to Jack she is survived by her four children Larry (Kathy) Orr, Jackie (Dan) Northup, Teri (Larry) Benedict and Randy Orr. Grandchildren, Scott (Kelly) Orr, Kerrie Brittingham, Tremaine Brittingham, Tonia Northup, Tori Stanfill, Daniel (Kelly) Northup, Brian Orr and Linzy Benedict; great-grandchildren, Dakota Stanfill, Tessa, Taylor, and Teagan Northup, Terry and Garret Flowers, Zach and Alex Orr, Drake and Aylla Brittingham; as well as many loving nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Jan was a very inspirational woman with so much to offer. Everyone who was fortunate enough to know Jan loved her. She was an avid Hoosiers fan especially for IU basketball. Jan will be greatly missed.
Jan was a very selfless person, per her request there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, the family would like to suggest a donation in Jan’s memory to the Make a Wish Foundation.
