Michael Joseph Wood, born May 8, 1979, 38 years old, of Schoolcraft, Michigan, died in a car accident December 22, 2017. A Funeral Mass is scheduled for May 4th, 2018, at 11:00 AM at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, Vicksburg, Michigan, Rev. Fr. Stanley Vitek presiding. Michael was preceded in death by his father Edwin D. Wood,II. He is survived by his mother Marilyn Jean Kozar, Schoolcraft, his brother Edwin D. Wood, III, Peoria, Illinois, sister Jennifer Duff, Grand Rapids, Michigan and sister Wendy Boutell and brother in law, Dan of San Francisco. Michael was an uncle of seven nieces and nephews and nine great nieces and nephews. Michael was blessed with a large group of friends from school, work and hobbies; he loved "hanging out." He enjoyed being called a "techy nerd", as there was no problem he couldn't solve. It will be helpful to know how many will attend the luncheon Following mass.
