Condolence: I want to send my condolences on behalf of my family for Jean. My mother just moved into New Friends a few weeks ago and we had the pleasure in getting to know Jean. What a delight your mother was and I always looked forward to chatting with her. I brought a picture that my students colored for Read Across America and she was just tickled that my 5th grade students made that. She insisted that I take a few chocolates because of their kindness. She was so excited to show you the picture. I am not sure if you did get to see it. She talked so loving of you and was excited that someday I would come at the same time you came for lunch with her so we could meet. Unfortunately, that couldn't happened because I teach but told her I would meet you when school was out. She showed me her beautiful wedding picture and the picture you drew of your parents and she was so proud of that picture and your artist talent. The last time we spoke she had me stop in her room and showed me a book that she was writing. She said next time I came to see mom she would love to read some of it to me and asked if I would give her constructive criticism because she knew I was a teacher and see didn't want to hear compliments because she wanted to make improvements. I am sorry I never got the chance to do that for her and hope that book a treasure to you. I only knew your mother for a very short time but she certainly touched my heart and I am so glad that I got to know her as she will be a memory I will treasure. She was just a ray of sunlight to me as I dealt with the transition of moving my mom from her home. I had peace knowing that your mom was there with my mom because she was so kind to my mom and my family. I pray that God gives you peace through this difficult time. Peace, Sandy Glasser
