Condolence From: Ruth Arnett
Condolence: Dave and his wife Sue were are next door neighbors for many years. We share a lot of good memories. We went many weekends to hear Gene and Donna Rae’s country singing and danced. We went to many civil war shoots and re-enactments. They were good friends of the Walters, also our neighbors, who also went to these shoots. Dave had a hard time remembering things at the end. I took him to the VA in Battle Creek and wished I could have helped him more. I think he had a hard time accepting help at the end. May he Rest In Peace and May God grant his family comfort.

Condolence From: Michael Wilkey
Condolence: It is with sadness that I learned of Dave's passing. I met Dave at the Upjohn Company over 40 years ago where we both worked and we became good friends. We shared a lot of time together at black powder shooting matches along with the "Walters clan" of the 1st Michigan Engineers and Mechanics. Dave provided my family and me with some very pleasant memories which we all will cherish. Rest in peace, Dave.
