It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Mildred (Millie) Arlene Majdan-Romanetz, on Saturday, November 17th, 2018 at Borgess Gardens, at the age of 94. Millie was preceded in death by her husband Harry, parents Wendall and Nina, sister Dorothy, son-in-law Louie, and grandson Andrew. Left to cherish her memory, Millie is survived by her four children, Jackie (Louis, deceased) Matico, Richard (Kathy), Barbara (Michael) Armstrong, Michael (Denice); ten grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; ten great-great-grandchildren; a very special niece, Joanne (Myron) Van Pelt, and many more family members and friends. Millie was born in Decatur, MI, April 15th, 1924 to Wendall and Nina Miller. A ballroom dance instructor for more than 60 years, Millie understood dancing was an expression of love and laughter that could be felt by everyone. She was a founding member of Artists Anonymous and put on countless performances throughout her long life. Along with her passion for dance, Millie will also be well-remembered for her love of all animals. Cremation has taken place. The family is planning a private memorial service at a later date.
