Obituary for Marilyn Milldred Wall (Clauss)

Marilyn Wall passed away on May 24, 2016 after a brief battle with cancer. Her passing was peaceful while surrounded by family and friends in her home of more than 50 years. After retiring she spent her time as a master seamstress providing alterations, costumes, pillow cases, quilts, and more. She enjoyed most of all spending time with family and friends, especially Sunday suppers that included everyone's favorite foods such as apple pie, chicken noodles, goulash, and "pink stuff". Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband David Wall and survived by her three children William D. Schallhorn, Phil (Donna) Schallhorn, Denise (Bill) Anderson, and four step children Sally (Joe) Bean, Kathy (Terry) Scott, Bruce (Barbara) Wall, and Steve (Ginger) Wall. She also leaves behind many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Lastly, she leaves behind her beloved dog Rosie. Her kindness, joyful attitude and positive disposition will be missed dearly but remembered always. Services will be held Friday, May 27 2016 at 3:00 at Ambrose Hall located at 1628 E G Ave. Parchment, MI. A small reception will follow. All those interested are welcome to join as was the same rule with her home.
