Pearson, James Frank 7/9/1937 - 11/17/2016 Grandville James Frank Pearson, age 79, Grandville, MI passed away Thursday after a battle with cancer. James was born in Manistee, MI and grew up in Boyne City, MI. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in 1962 from WMU. He later received a Masters Degree from the University of Wisconsin. He taught biology and human biology for 33 years at Grandville High School. He married Judith Schramm in 1958 and recently celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary. They had 2 daughters and after fostering many years adopted 2 sons. Preceded in Death by his mother, Merla, his father, James, and his brother Bill. Survived by his wife, Judith of Grandville, his daughter Julie Shippy of Virginia Beach and her husband Kenneth, his daughter Joan Huffer of Grandville, and his sons Sidney and Albert of Grandville. Also survived by his grandchildren Amber, Daniel, Andrew, and Michelle and a great grandson Dillon. Per Jim's request, there will be no memorial service at this time.
