BILLY

My first recolection of Billy was about 1954....I was about 10 and he was about 20. I had come downstairs early one morning and sleeping on the couch was a "strange" man...I asked Ma, who that strange man was and she replied "that's your brother Billy", (as if I should know)To my recolection, that was my first and only memory of him. Until he and Sandy moved back to Michigan (before Lori)and then I became to know "Billy and Sandy". And that is exactly how I remember him, the first half of the team, Billy and Sandy. Billy and Sandy was one word in our family. They went everywhere and did everything together. They completed the picture in this big family. They produced four of the finest children you could ever ask for. They were a compliment to any get together, not just their presence but the entertaining stories and great food. Losing Billy, as a brother, is hard...it's hard for all of us. No more memories will be made, so embrace all that you have of him. Know that we all have been blessed having him in our life....We have lost one half of a great team, when I see Sandy, I'll think of Billy and I will call Sandy more often because I know that will make Billy happy. I've always loved you Billy...you were a great brother.
