I met Jenni about 35 years ago.
I didn't attend HOPE College, however I met Jenni through mutual friends...now known as LamdaAlpha Sisters. (aka: Ligget's Angels)
I am a proud honorary LamdaAlpha Sister.
Through the years, we LA Sisters have gathered at least 2 times a year.
We have ALL been through some very painful times, some joyous times and some adventurous times.
The one thing that I know for sure, is that my LA Sisters have been there for me...and shall ALWAYS be there for me. This I can 'take to the bank'.
Jenni always made me feel accepted. She was always one of the first chicks that would strike up conversation with me...always remembering what my Family was going through...and always caring so genuinely...so compassionately.
I got to see Jenni (Liggett) and Max (Lynne) a lot, when they would faithfully attend HOPE B'ball games. They would stop and see me at Holland Peanut Store (downtown Holland), before every game! It was always a fabulous time to have them visit me at my Family's store. My brother Tom LOVED giving LIggett & Max a hard time (aka: flirting)!!!
Jenni's favorite handmade delicacy at HPStore is Sea Salt Caramels. She would buy them for work mates, her Family, herself, etc! She'd call ahead, so we would have her order ready...so she could run off to that next exciting HOPE athletic event. :) She'd call and say, "Hey Paulita!!! It's me, Jenni, I hope I'm no catching you at a bad time...I'd LOVE to order up some of my Favorites, and I'll pick them up before the game today!!!"
To think that Jenni will never grace our Store again with her Love, her Smile, her Sassy Self, her Blue&Orange, her Hugs, her Flirtatious Banter with Tom, her Generous Compassion, her Humility and her Faithful Concern...saddens me and my entire Fabiano Family!
To Jenni's Loving Family...
We, The Fabiano Family extend Our Love, Our Faithful Prayers, Our Sincere Condolences and Our Friendship to you!
With a broken and grateful heart,
Paula Fabiano
